Steven Barnes

EXPERIENCE

Steve joined Bain Capital 1988 and is a Senior Advisory Partner to the firm. Previously, Steve served as Chair of Global Private Equity, Head of North America Private Equity, Co-Head of Europe Private Equity, and founded and led the Global Private Equity portfolio group. He also served in various leadership positions within Bain Capital portfolio companies including CEO of Dade Behring, a global medical diagnostic company, President of Executone Business Solutions, a telecommunications company, and President of The Holson Burnes Group, a publicly traded consumer products company.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Steve held several senior management positions in the Mergers & Acquisitions Support Group of PwC.

EDUCATION

Steve received a BS from Syracuse University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
