Susan Baxter

EXPERIENCE

Susan Baxter joined Bain Capital in 2026. She is a Partner on the Investor Relations team and Head of Family Capital & Ultra High Net Worth. She leads the firm’s global strategy for family offices, ultra-high-net-worth investors, and private wealth, working across Bain Capital’s investment businesses.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Susan was Global Head of Family Offices at RBC Capital Markets, where she helped build and lead the bank’s global institutional family office business and served on the Investment Bank’s operating committee. Previously, she co-founded and led the European business of UBS’s Global Family Office platform and held senior investment and leadership positions at Pacific Capital Partners, R3 Capital Partners, and Lehman Brothers.

Susan has nearly three decades of international experience spanning investment banking, private equity, asset management, and strategic advisory, with senior leadership experience in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

EDUCATION

Susan holds an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences in pharmacology and toxicology from Western University, where she graduated with highest academic distinction.
