Experience

Mr. Cozean joined Bain Capital in 2013. He is a Managing Director on the Bain Capital Life Sciences team. Prior to joining the Life Sciences team, he was a member of the North American Private Equity team in the Healthcare Vertical. Previously, he focused on Energy in the Industrial & Energy Vertical and spent time in the Technology, Media & Telecom Vertical.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Cozean was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in the Atlanta office. He focused on driving operational improvements across multiple sectors, including manufacturing and healthcare.


Education

Mr. Cozean received an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. As an undergraduate, he attended the University of Virginia as a Jefferson Scholar and received a BS in Commerce with Distinction.
