Bain Capital employees participate in the 2016 America SCORES Cup

On Saturday July 9th, a team of nine Bain Capital employees, along with friends, joined forty other corporate teams to compete in the 12th annual SCORES Cup Boston. Held at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Revolution (MLS) and the New England Patriots (NFL), the event brought together more than 500 attendees from some of the area's top companies to raise funds for America SCORES Boston's mission to promote healthy lifestyles for at-risk youth throughout the city, as well as equip them with the tools and confidence to succeed in the future.  For a third consecutive year, Bain Capital Community Partnership (BCCP) served as a sponsor for the event. Players participated in the day-long 7v7 tournament followed by a celebration reception at nearby Toby Keith's Bar & Grill.

Over the past year, Bain Capital employees have maintained involvement in America SCORES events, including attending the 6th annual Boston celebration gala, as well as a Field Day in partnership with the Blackstone School in the South End of Boston. The organization leads a number of events and initiatives throughout the year.

Founded in 1994 in Washington, D.C., America SCORES provides organized athletic and artistic after-school activities to at-risk children in both the United States and Canada.  America SCORES Boston is the second oldest and second largest America SCORES program, and now serves over 1,400 Boston-area youths per year.  To learn about the various programs and activities that America SCORES Boston offers, please visit the organization's website at www.americascoresboston.com.
