This past August, the London office participated in a service day with Literacy Pirates, one of the charities sponsored by Bain Capital Children's Fund Europe.

In preparation for the new school year, Bain Capital volunteers spent time repairing walls, painting, assembling furniture and tidying up. By the time they were done, the space was shipshape!

Literacy Pirates is an educational charity making a transformative impact on the literacy, confidence and perseverance of young people aged 9-13, who are both falling behind in school and have fewer advantages due to personal circumstances. Literacy Pirates provides children with one-to-one support from trained volunteers, a unique learning space, and the opportunity to develop and publish three different creative projects; a book, a film and an app.
