Over the last many months, the pandemic has created challenges in virtually every part of the world. We are deeply saddened by the enormous toll and scale of the humanitarian crisis now impacting India. With millions infected, the rampant nature of the virus is creating enormous strain on India’s healthcare system as cases surge and hospitals are overrun. 
 
Bain Capital has committed to support and assist our colleagues and their families in India during this difficult time and will be providing $1 million from the firm’s COVID Relief Fund to support ACT, a local nonprofit founded in 2020 that is addressing the acute shortage of concentrators, cylinders, and other oxygen solutions, and provides them to medical facilities across India. Increasing the supply of these critical components will help ease some of the burden on the healthcare system.
