During February and March, more than 60 Bain Capital employees representing all business units teamed up with family, friends, and fellow supporters to participate in Cycle for Survival (CFS) events across the United States. The annual nationwide events provide a tangible way for participants to "Join the Battle!" against rare, under-funded cancers (which, statistically, comprise 50% of all cancer diagnoses). Riders collaborate with their teams to raise money for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and pedal along with hundreds of other cancer survivors, family members, and friends who ride in memory or in honor of loved ones. Donations from CFS have funded over 100 new clinical trials and led to major breakthrough in technology and treatment at MSKCC.

Participating under the Bain Capital Community Partnership (BCCP) umbrella for the fifth consecutive year, teams riding in Boston, San Francisco and New York have raised nearly $252,000 to date, placing us as the #8 fundraiser among National Teams. The 2017 CFS events have raised more than $33 million (and counting!) for MSKCC, bringing the overall fundraising total to more than $140 million since the ride began in 2007.
