PPE Comes in All Shapes and Sizes

Varsity Brands adapted the graduation cap and gown manufacturing facilities of its Herff Jones division to quickly deliver critical personal protective equipment (PPE) to essential business customers globally whose employees support America’s critical goods supply chain.

Staying Connected During School Closures

Varsity Brands’ BSN SPORTS division is helping coaches, teachers, and athletic directors tackle the challenges of remote learning with the development of free, virtual K-12 physical education curriculum through their OPEN Physical Education Network. Coaches can also stay connected with their teams by utilizing the free digital e-cards developed by BSN SPORTS to send personalized, school branded messages of support, recognition, and encouragement. To help coaches and customers continue professional development and connect with their athletes, BSN now offers a series of free-of-charge distance learning programs and coaching clinic webinars hosted by BSN SPORTS Brand Ambassadors and sports experts across a variety of sports and areas of focus.

Varsity Brands’ Varsity Spirit division is offering several free resources to cheer and dance coaches who cannot host in-person tryouts for next year’s teams. These include a virtual tryout guide with routine videos, music and document samples; a communications app to organize a virtual tryout; and experts in the spirit industry to act as judges and assist with student selection.

Additionally, Varsity Brands’ Herff Jones division has provided a virtual commencement solution, in partnership with graduation technology experts StageClip and MarchingOrder, for schools and colleges/universities across the country in light of closed campuses and social distancing measures. This platform offers the Class of 2020 a shared experience now while recognizing and celebrating their achievements.
